Gujarat Minister Shri Vasan Gopal Ahir celebrated his birthday with the children

Gujarat State Minister for educationally and socially backward classes Shri Vasan Gopal Ahir celebrated his 55th birthday today (30.07.2012) with the children of Jeevan Prabhat. He has been celebrating his birthday with the children since the past 8 years. The children themselves decorated the whole Jeevan Prabhat complex for their special guest.

After being traditionally welcomed with a Tilak on the forehead at the entrance of Jeevan Prabhat the Hon'ble Minister participated in the Havan specially done for this auspicious day. The Minister had come with his full family.

Welcoming the guest on the occassion Shri Purshottambhai Patel President Arya Samaj said that the children anxiously wait for this day and start getting ready for the occassion before 15 days.

In his address the Hon'ble Minister said that when he comes to Jeevan Prabhat his battery gets charged for the full year. He said that Arya Samaj is doing good work by not only bringing up the children but by imbibing in them our tradional values and culture and also by giving them modern day education. He said that he was a simple man and still he remains the same.

After this all had dinner togather with the Hon'ble minister serving the children. The event was well attended by dignified guests of Gandhidham.
